Mechanical Battery Connections (MBC) are static or fixed connections whereas Electronic Battery Connections (EBC) are dynamic.

Batteries are DC whereas Switching Battery is Adaptive DC (ADC).

ADC enables voltage modulation. This results in low conversion loss between AC and DC.

A unique feature of the Switching Battery is that it can maintain stable state of charge through its patented simultaneous charging & discharging with load isolation system.

It can further produce any arbitrary waveform to enable Adaptive DC.

Dynamic Para-series (DPS) is a new patented battery connection method.

This method can also be used in all renewable energy systems as they are based on DC.

DPS enables all DC systems to be converted into Adaptive DC which is Switching Battery’s proprietary system.

Voltage shifting is achieved through our coarse modulation technique.

When the source is connected to the Switching Battery in parallel in a first cycle and then shifts to series in a second cycle when connected to the load, this results in voltage shifting from solar panel to Switching Battery.

Switching Battery drives the load in series but receives energy from the source in parallel cycle. Switching Battery releases all energy to the load instantly as required or holds back in its system when not required.

Switching Battery systems are based on electronic DPS battery connection method with software that unlocks latent battery voltage to improve battery efficiency by up to 30%.

Fixed battery connection methods (series or parallel) limit battery efficiency which DPS overcomes easily.

By switching between parallel and series at a constant interval, we can average out the voltage.

By changing the duty cycle to having the battery configured more in series, we can increase the average voltage.

By changing the duty cycle to having the battery configured more in parallel, we can decrease the average voltage.

By adding PAM via series arrangement of batteries, voltage range can be increased at discrete multiples of battery voltage, while still enabling fine tuning with PWM.

By leveraging on PWM, PAM and PFM, the ADC system can break free from standard constant voltage to be able to flexibly create arbitrary waveforms.
